Columbus Cell Tower

SK Geotechnical was honored to be chosen by Great Lakes Aerial and Hayward Baker to perform field and lab quality monitoring on cell tower structural improvements, including 5 foot spin lock anchors and 60 foot micropiles.  Torque, pull, and post-tensioning were verified, as well as geotechnical logging, micropile construction, and grout field and lab properties.  The challenges of this hilltop project deep into Montana winter were clear, and best practices for cold-weather construction were at the forefront.
