Chinook – East

SK Geotechnical performed 31 borings for the Phase 1 portion of the project along US 2 east of Chinook for the Montana Department of Transportation.  Several of these borings were completed as vibrating wire piezometers.  We also subcontracted ConeTec to perform two cone penetrometer test soundings near two of the bridges for Phase 2 of the project.  Much of the work required careful scheduling and coordination with traffic control to meet project deadlines during limited winter working hours while maintaining public safety around our work zone.
